Having just concluded a season termed "outstanding" by Executive Producer Jon Kimball, North Shore Music Theatre in Beverly has scheduled a number of activities and workshops for February school vacation week.

According to Liz Arno, the theatre’s Education Associate, the programs are an extension of the Education Department’s Summer Stages and After School Enrichment programs.

The February schedule includes the following:

Creative Drama (ages 6 and 7); February 16 - 19; 9 a.m. to Noon

Playmaking (ages 8 - 11); February 16 - 19; 9 a.m. to Noon

Clowning Around (ages 8 - 11); February 16 and 17; l:30 to 4 p.m.

Improvisation (ages 12 - 16); February 18; 1 to 4 p.m.

Musical Theatre (ages 12 - 16); February 16 and 17; 1 to 4 p.m.

Auditioning (ages 12 - 16); February 19; 1 to 4 p.m.

1999 subscriptions are now on sale for the season ahead, which is scheduled to include "My Fair Lady," "The Mikado," "Queen of the Stardust Ballroom," "The Secret Garden" and two shows to be announced. The theatre’s concert season will include such artists as John McDermott, Wynonna and Johnny Mathis.
