Boston Social Outcomes: The Kitchen Cabinet's "Mascherata Veneziana"
Benefiting the Greater Boston Food Bank

As I mentioned in a previous news story, events staged by the Kitchen Cabinet – a cadre of young professionals supporting the Greater Boston Food Bank – have become “must-attend” affairs in Boston. And it’s not merely because their events are fun; it’s also because the goal is worthy: eliminating hunger in the Hub. Perhaps I just answered my own question.

The latest of the Kitchen Cabinet’s hot events was the “Mascherata Veneziana”; a sort of pre-Halloween fete, held at Rialto at The Charles Hotel. As I expected, the party was packed; oftentimes, it was a bit hard to shoot photos without getting in the way of the guests.

Covering this party was an unusual experience for me; despite having to work, I actually had a great time. In retrospect I’ve concluded that it’s because there were so many nice people there.
